Welcome to Four Winds Weavers, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located on the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona. Our efforts are humanitarian, and we believe in carrying on traditional preservation to help the Navajo people and other Native American people with assistance. We been helping for over 40 years, as it is a lifetime commitment.

We assist the traditional weavers in preserving our unique Navajo heritage found in northern Arizona, with the elders, youths, and surrounding communities.

The Navajo rugs are world-renowned for their visually stunning and unique designs. This is the proud tradition of the Navajo people. Navajo weavers create their own sacred traditional designs that relate to the people. Each design within the Navajo rug carries many sacred symbolic meanings. It involves the Navajo legend story, herding the sheep, preparing the wool, weaving the wool on a loom, and designing the Navajo rug. This whole traditional process enables weavers to create an authentic Navajo rug. We display many types of traditional Navajo rugs woven by the people and convey our message of cultural preservation to the global community. Some of the Navajo rugs have much history in their designs, and if you were to own a Navajo rug, please understand the whole aspect of an authentic Navajo rug.

Donation to the elders with families are greatly appreciated. We welcome the donations to Four Winds Weavers nonprofit organization. Every donation helps the people sustain their traditional livelihood and keeps the unique designs found on Navajo rugs. We bridge the world and convey arts, agriculture, and environmental education awareness for all peoples. Your donations helps establishs a connection with people who care about preserving our cultural heritage teachings. This indigenous knowledge has been passed down from one generation to next generations for centuries. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

The history of helping the Navajo elders started in the early 1980s. If you were to own an authentic Navajo rug, the elders have requested that they can keep your Navajo rugs in balance and they can assist with repairs. They appreciate restoring the traditional Navajo rugs to their natural beauty for which they were originally intended. The traditional Navajo weavers from Teesto, Big Mountain, and other communities in Arizona were facing harsh times of losing culture and asked Grandmother Grace Yellow Hammer to begin conveying the message of preserving their culture and humanitarian efforts.

Join our list for latest updates with the people. Be a part of the Four Winds Weavers community in achieving our cultural preservation. If your are interested in a particular rug or want more information on rugs that we have available then contact us so that we can also help the elders Navajo rugs provide as source of income. We aid the elders by translating Navajo and giving them an avenue to contact the elders if you are interested in their traditional authentic Navajo rugs, sending wood, toys for children, and supporting the people.
